Being Thankful for Wisdom
This year, many of us will give thanks for advice and guidance that has had a real influence on our lives. Whether it was from a wise family member, a former manager or just a nugget of famous philosophy, you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who has not been moved by the words of another.
In honor of the spirit of giving thanks, a few members of the WorldVentures executive team reflected on some of the most profound pieces of advice that they’ve been thankful to receive. Following these words of wisdom has helped shape who they are, both personally and professionally.
Be sure to share the most profound words of wisdom you’re thankful you’ve received over the years– you never know how they may inspire someone else.
“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”
This quote by great German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer has allowed me to forge ahead in times of doubt and reap the benefits of new ideas time and time again.
