Finding Your “Why” at UNITED!
Your why is what makes you vow to make each day better than the last.
Thousands of you have descended on Las Vegas from every corner of the globe for UNITED! 2013. And though the weekend will be packed with product training, impassioned messaging and, of course, parties and celebrations, what is truly remarkable are your stories. The stories of why many of you have traveled, sometimes thousands of miles, to surround yourselves with others who share your vision. The stories of why you get up each and every day, thinking of WorldVentures™, and fall asleep at night with the same thought―how can I continue to grow my business? The stories of how you stepped out on faith, vowing to make better lives for yourself, your family, your children, your neighborhoods―your world.
These are the stories of your “whys.”
The “whys” behind the reasons you have chosen to improve your life and take the steps toward your new tomorrows are individual. Some of you have grown tired of working yourselves to exhaustion. Some of you were laid off after years of service, without a moment’s notice. Others may have truly loved what you did professionally, but never had time to smell the roses. And there are those of you who, having found success in other business endeavors, simply found a new challenge with WorldVentures and chose to take it on.
Each “why” takes you beyond your entrance into the WorldVentures family. Your why serves as motivation during the times where frustration may take root. It becomes the reason behind making just one more call to a prospect or driving to just one more travel party to make a presentation. Your why is what may ease the sting when you hear “no.” It is the reason you repeat your personal mantras about never giving up. Your why is what makes you vow to make each day better than the last.
American literary icon Mark Twain said that the two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you discover why you were born. For many of you, WorldVentures provided you with a “why”, a purpose and, simultaneously, allowed you to fuel your passions. Maybe your why is finally being able to take a family vacation, perhaps for the first time ever and witness the joy on your child’s face. Maybe your why is having the means to finally be able to take care of a parent, whose sacrifices paved the way for your success. And maybe your why is being able to travel to parts of the world you had only read about and to help provide a safe place to educate children.
During UNITED!, you will be surrounded by thousands of your peers. You will cheer, you will be moved, you will inspire each other and you will celebrate. And though each of your “whys” will be different, there will be commonalities despite different backgrounds and stories, showing that we are all indeed, united.
