Our Journey

WorldVentures founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue experienced great success in business early in their careers, but both came to realize there had to be a better way to make a living. Wayne always held the belief that work must be about more than money—it needs to be about passion, adventure and fun. For Mike, the long hours, miles and slavish commitment had taken a heavy toll on his family life.

In 2005, they founded WorldVentures Marketing, a first-of-its-kind company with the goal of helping people achieve a life of fun, freedom and fulfillment, whether as a Representative, DreamTrips Member or even as an employee. Since then, WorldVentures Marketing and its parent company, WorldVentures Holdings, have experienced incredible growth, purchasing a travel agency, Rovia, in 2008; expanding its reach internationally in 2009; founding the WorldVentures Foundation in 2010; and now offering hundreds of DreamTrips annually.

Today, through all of the companies within the WorldVentures Holdings family, Wayne and Mike are realizing their vision of building a company that helps everyone who touches it live a rich, full life.

A Heart for Service

We’re proud of the work our top-notch team members do day in and day out to support our customers, but we’re even more proud of the work they do to support our community.

From volunteering with the WorldVentures Foundation to donating school supplies and holiday parties hosting for local youth, our employees are as dedicated to making a difference in the community surrounding our home office as they are to our company. Each year, we sponsor a number of volunteering opportunities, and to ensure everyone can give back, each employee receives 1 day to participate in the off-site charitable event of their choice. This passion for helping others is at the very core of who we are as a company, and allows us to truly be “one big team.”
