IMD Keith Brown is Destined for Glory

July 11, 2017

Beep. Beep. Beep. 2:15 a.m. It’s time for Keith Brown to roll out of bed. He needs to arrive at the Chicago Transit Authority garage by 3:30 a.m. Once there, he’ll climb into his bus, update the route marquee and pull a long diesel behemoth onto the half-lit Chicago streets.

This is his routine, 10-12 hours a day and has been for the last 14 years. In that time, he’s transported hundreds of thousands of people across the lakeside metropolis, including office workers, nurses, students and most certainly, tourists.

It’s a good career, and Keith aims to retire with a healthy pension when he hits the 26-year mark. He is proud to serve his city in this way, much like his grandfather, an educator who retired from the Chicago public school system after 37 years.

Keith doesn’t realize his life is about to change.

“Anyone can find reasons to quit. Not everyone can find a reason to succeed.”

Find out how Keith grasped the WorldVentures opportunity and overcame obstacles to reach International Marketing Director in this issue of Voyager magazine. You can get your copy here.
