Dream Courts Come to Passaic, NJ

Plano, Texas – On May 1st, Hector C. Lora, mayor of Passaic, New Jersey, announced a new multisport Dream Court at Colonel Johnson Park. Dream Courts™, a collaboration between Nancy Lieberman Charities and WorldVentures Foundation, are avant-garde courts where children in challenged communities can play sports and forge friendships. To date, there are 35 nationwide.

With contributions from the United States Tennis Association, the Passaic Dream Court is the first of its kind in New Jersey, and includes two basketball goals, three tennis courts and features a high-performance safety surface by Sport Court®.

"I am committed to upgrading play spaces and providing opportunities for expanded recreational programs throughout our city.” said Mayor Lora. “I am thankful for the support from Nancy Lieberman Charities and WorldVentures Foundation, which allows for a new multiuse tennis and basketball court without cost to local taxpayers."

Funding for the Dream Courts project was raised from private sources in an effort spearheaded by WorldVentures™ Independent Representative Michelle Jeanty, with the aid of Jessica Lezcano, superintendent of recreation for the City of Passaic, and Ricardo Fernandez, business administrator.
